The Festo HGL-1/4-QS-8 is a pneumatic non-return valve that allows compressed air to flow in one direction only and blocks it in the other. It is used to prevent reverse airflow in pneumatic circuits where back pressure could affect system performance or damage components. This valve is typically installed in compressed air lines to keep air moving where it’s supposed to go, without allowing pressure to bleed back into the system.
The valve connects to an 8 mm pneumatic tube using a quick-connect fitting, making installation fast and straightforward. It operates up to 10 bar, which covers most standard industrial pneumatic applications.
