The Festo HGL-1/4-QS-10 is a pneumatic non-return valve that controls airflow in one direction and blocks it in the opposite direction. It is commonly installed in compressed air systems where backflow could cause pressure loss, instability, or damage to connected components. Rated for pressures up to 10 bar, it fits comfortably into standard industrial pneumatic setups.
Once air flows in the correct direction, the valve opens automatically. If pressure tries to reverse, the valve closes instantly, stopping air from flowing back. This is especially useful in systems where cylinders, actuators, or tools must hold pressure or position.
