Formlabs Form 1+ SLA 3D Printer Formlabs Form 1+ offers a professional stereo lithography 3D printer. With a layer resolution of 25 μm the Formlabs Form 1+ SLA printer gives you quality 3D objects. The Form 1+ SLA printer has been designed for anyone creating intricate 3D designs Includes: Finishing Tray Scraper 2 x Rinse Tubs Rinse Basket Squeeze Bottle Flush Cutters Tweezers Disposable Nitrile Gloves PEC*PAD Wipes Microfiber cloth One bottle of clear resin Professional Output Stereo lithography is the industry standard in delivering beautiful, functional parts that plastic extrusion printers cannot match. A high precision optical system directs a laser across a tank of liquid resin, solidifying layers as thin as 25 microns. The build platform pulls your model upwards, out of the tank. What do I need to use the Form 1+? The Form 1+ arrives fully assembled, calibrated, and ready to use. Each Form 1+ order also includes 1 litre of clear resin and a kit to help finish your prints. The first thing you’ll need to do is download the PreForm software from http://formlabs.com/products/preform/ which lets you load in your print file, move or resize it, add support structures and choose the resolution of the print. Once you’ve finished your print you’ll need Isopropyl Alcohol (RS 448-180 ) to rinse your printed model. Finishing your print Once your print has finished you will need to remove the build platform and use the scraper to remove the print from the build platform. The print is covered in sticky resin so be careful not to drip it on your workstation, you will then need to rinse the print 2-3 times in isopropyl Alcohol until the resin has been washed away. You will then have to cure your printed part with a UV light for 30 minutes to an hour. Sunlight can be used to cure, alternatively a UV Curing Chamber.
