ENERGTECH: A NEW WORLDWIDE DISTRIBUTOR OF UDOO NEO, DUAL, QUAD

Behold, a new king of single board computers has been born, the UDOO. The UDOO single board computers are literally giving the Latte, Banana, Raspberry Pi and Tinker a run for their money. They are very powerful and agile computers and are poised to revolutionize the Internet of Things (IoT). The UDOO group is a joint effort between SECO USA Inc. and Aidilab. The UDOO single board computers are available in various types. We have the UDO Neo, Dual, Quad, and x86. At Enrgtech we offer you the UDOO NEO, DUAL, and Quad.

Enrgtech offers fantastic prices for UDOO single board computers. We are UK’s leading electronic components dealer. The UDOO NEO is the ultimate single board computer that every developer, maker, and designer should have. Its most impressive feature is its heterogeneous processor that has two cores embedded, the 1GHz ARM Cortex A9 and the Cortex -M4 I/O co-processor which is an Arduino-UNO compatible. This enables it to run both Android, and Linux operating systems, while at the same time acting as an ARM and ATMEL development board as well, just like a normal Arduino UNO board.

The UDOO NEO is available in three options, the Basic, Extended, and Full. The Extended and Full have an embedded 9-axis motion sensor that has 3 axis magnetometer,3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis gyroscope built into it. This makes them perfect for building drones, robots, and 3D printers. All except the Basic version havebuilt-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 (Classic Bluetooth and Bluetooth Low Energy). Besides being compatible with Arduino UNO Pinouts, the UDOO NEO embeds all the common I/O of a PC, including HDMI, SD Reader, Ethernet, USB 2.0, LVDS and Micro USB OTG ports. However, the Extended version does not have the Ethernet port. All versions supportanalog input for cameras. The UDOO NEO makes the Raspberry Pi 3 sound like a joke, right? Well, it gets even better. The UDOO NEO has a better RAM and allows you to tap into the power of Android Elite.

  • UDOO DUAL

There are two versions of the UDOO, the Dual Basic, and the Dual. Both versions have a heterogeneous processor containing NXP i.MX 6 Dualite 1GHz and the Atmel SAM3X8E. They have two GPUs, Vivante GC 880 and 320. Both single board computers are equipped with 1GB DDR3 RAM. They have 76 onboard GPIO (62 Digital and 14 analog). They have HDMI, LVDS, 2 Micro USB (OTG) ports and SD Reader ports. They also have Arduino UNO compatible Pinouts. The DUAL, unlike the Basic, has an Ethernet port.

The UDOO DUAL and DUAL Basic both support analog audio and microphone and have a connection point for CSI camera. Like the NEO, you can use them as a computer or as an ARM development tool. UDOO DUAL has Wi-Fi hence can be readily used in the IoT environment.

  • UDOO QUAD

The UDOO QUAD is an equally powerful single board computer like the NEO. It is equipped with a heterogeneous processor that combines the i.MX 6 ARM Cortex-A9 Quad-core 1GHz and Atmel SAM3X8E ARM Cortex-M3. Its graphics are powered by the powerful Vivante GC 2000 and GC 320. It also integrates accelerometers for 2D, OpenGL ES2.0, and Open VG. It contains a 1GB DDR3 RAM. It can run on Linux, Android or Windows.

Just like a PC, the UDOO QUAD has HDMI, SD Reader, LVDS, 2 Micro USB Audio/Mic, Ethernet, and SATA. The board also Arduino-compatible R3 10 pinout and CSI Camera connection. The QUAD also has a built-in Wi-Fi module. You can use the UDOO QUAD as a gaming console, as a PC, and ARM development board for your DIY projects like making robots and drones.

The UDOO family of single board computers continues to redefine our knowledge and the scope of single board computers. Their agility and performance are expected to boost the adoption of IoT. With such single board computers, the limit to what designers and hobbyists can achieve is no left to their imagination.
