This clip works as advertised. It's strong enough. I bought this for a DIY project... to attach an accessory mount to my camera's tripod. I covered them with heat shrink so they wouldn't scratch the tripod. steel is nice, but it's not as springy as other steel alloys...it will bend with little effort. The description implies that the holes will fit #6 screws. 6, but they must be sheet metal screws. I had to drill them a bit to get the #1 machine screws through. 6 through the holes. all in all its great and would recommend to others.
