The Festo MHE2-M1H-3/2G-QS-4 is a small 3/2-way solenoid valve designed for simple pneumatic switching tasks. It is a normally closed, monostable valve that operates on 24 V DC and is commonly used in compact systems where controlled airflow is required. When power is applied, the valve switches; when power is removed, it returns to its default position by spring force.
This is a 3/2-way valve, meaning it has three ports and two switching positions. In its default state, the air supply is blocked. When energised, the valve opens, allowing air to flow to the output port. Once power is cut, the valve automatically returns to the closed position.
The valve uses 4 mm push-in pneumatic fittings, enabling fast, clean hose installation without additional tools. This reduces setup time and helps keep installations tidy, especially in control cabinets or small machinery. Its compact MHE2 series design allows it to be mounted close to actuators, minimising tubing length and improving response time in pneumatic circuits.
It is often selected where simple directional control is needed without complex valve logic.
