The Festo MHE3-M1H-3/2O-1/8 is a small, electrically operated solenoid valve used to control air flow in simple pneumatic systems. It is a 3/2-way, normally closed, monostable valve, meaning air flows only when the coil is energised and returns to its default position when power is removed. This makes it suitable for basic on-off air-control tasks where safety and predictable behaviour are essential. The G 1/8 port size makes installation easy in compact systems with limited space.
This valve uses an electrical signal to open or close the air path. When powered, the valve switches state and allows compressed air to flow. When power is cut, the internal spring returns it to its closed position.
