The Festo SE-1/2-B is a pneumatic quick exhaust valve that releases compressed air directly to the atmosphere rather than forcing it back through the control valve. This helps cylinders retract or extend faster, improving overall system response. With a G ½ port and a maximum operating pressure of 10 bar, it fits into standard industrial pneumatic setups without modification. It is typically used where speed matters and delayed exhaust would slow down machine movement.
When air is supplied, the valve allows normal flow to the actuator. When pressure is released, the exhaust valve opens immediately and vents air locally. This shortens exhaust time and reduces back pressure.
The SE-1/2-B features a compact body that installs close to the actuator. Its mechanical design is straightforward, ensuring reliable operation even in continuous-duty environments. There are no complex adjustments required, making it suitable for maintenance-friendly installations. It works reliably in standard factory air conditions.
