The Festo GR-1/8X2-B is a pneumatic pressure relief valve that protects air systems from excess pressure. It is designed to automatically release air when system pressure exceeds its set limit, helping prevent damage to downstream components. It fits well into standard industrial compressed-air setups. This valve is typically installed where pressure spikes can occur and where simple mechanical pressure protection is required, without electronics or complex adjustment.
The valve stays closed during regular operation. When the system pressure exceeds the safe limit, it opens to vent excess air. Once pressure drops back to an acceptable level, it closes automatically again.
With a 1/8-inch port size, the GR-1/8X2-B is compact and easy to integrate into control panels, manifolds, or inline air lines. Its small size allows installation close to sensitive components where pressure protection matters most. The valve body is built for industrial environments, handling regular pressure cycles without frequent maintenance or adjustment.
