The Festo GRO-M5-B is a compact stainless steel pressure relief valve designed to shield pneumatic systems from excess pressure. It opens automatically when system pressure reaches its set limit of 10bar, helping prevent damage to components, tubing, or fittings. This valve is used when reliable, yet uncomplicated, pressure control is required. It does one job and does it consistently.
When the system pressure exceeds the safe limit, the valve opens and releases excess air. Once pressure drops back to a safe level, it closes again. There is no need for manual adjustment during regular operation.
