The Festo DSNU-25-40-PPS-A is a double-acting roundline pneumatic cylinder designed for controlled linear movement in automation systems. It uses compressed air on both strokes, allowing the piston to extend and retract with consistent force and repeatability. With a 25 mm bore and 40 mm stroke length, it fits compact machinery where space is limited but motion accuracy still matters. This cylinder is commonly used in production equipment that requires smooth operation and predictable movement rather than high-force actuation.
The DSNU series features a round tube design, keeping the cylinder lightweight while maintaining stability during operation. Air pressure moves the piston in both directions, providing better control than single-acting cylinders that rely on springs.
This model includes PPS adjustable pneumatic cushioning at both ends of the stroke. The cushioning slows the piston just before it reaches the end position, reducing impact stress on the cylinder and connected components.
