The Festo CQ-15H-12 is a tube-to-tube reducer nipple used in pneumatic systems to connect two different tube sizes. It allows a smooth transition from a 15 mm push-in tube to a 12 mm push-in tube without the need for additional fittings or adapters. This fitting is typically used in compressed air lines where space is limited and clean, reliable connections are required.
The body is made of polyoxymethylene (POM), a material commonly used in pneumatic fittings for its strength, low friction, and resistance to wear. It holds its shape well under pressure and maintains a secure grip on tubing during regular system operation.
Both ends of the reducer use a push-in connection system. Tubes are inserted directly and locked in place without tools, reducing installation time and keeping pneumatic layouts clean.
It is especially helpful when upgrading or modifying existing airlines without replacing full tubing runs.
