The Festo QSS-8-F is a bulkhead tube-to-tube adaptor used to connect two pneumatic tubes through a panel or enclosure wall. Both sides accept 8 mm push-in tubing, enabling a clean, secure pass-through without bending or external fittings. It is typically used in control cabinets, machine frames, and pneumatic panels where tubing needs to be routed from one side to another in an organised manner. This fitting is designed for straightforward air line routing rather than complex flow control. Once installed, it keeps tubing fixed in place and prevents movement caused by vibration or repeated pressure changes.
The adaptor uses push-in connections on both sides, so tubes can be inserted directly without tools. The internal gripping mechanism holds the tube firmly while still allowing removal when needed.
The bulkhead design allows the adaptor to sit firmly in a panel cut-out, keeping tubing aligned and protected. It helps avoid sharp bends and reduces stress on pneumatic lines passing through metal or plastic surfaces.
