The Festo QSMS-6 is a straight bulkhead adaptor used to connect two pneumatic tubes through a panel or enclosure wall. It accepts 6 mm push-in tubing on both sides, allowing air lines to pass cleanly and securely from one side to the other without bends or adapters. It is typically used when air lines need to enter control cabinets, machine frames, or panels while keeping the connection neat and mechanically stable.
This adaptor is designed for tube-to-tube connections where the fitting itself is fixed in place. Once mounted through a panel, each tube is simply pushed in from either side. No tools are required, and the connection holds firmly under normal pneumatic operating conditions.
The QSMS-6 is typically used in systems where layout and organisation matter just as much as function. By anchoring the connection at the panel, it reduces stress on the tubing and keeps air lines aligned.
