The Festo LBN-12/16 is a clevis foot designed for use with ADVUL compact pneumatic cylinders. Its main job is to provide a stable pivot mounting at the cylinder base, allowing the cylinder to move freely during operation. This type of mounting is typically used where slight angular movement is needed to prevent side loading on the piston rod. It is a mechanical accessory, not a complex component, but it plays a vital part in keeping the cylinder aligned and operating smoothly.
The LBN-12/16 connects to the rear end of an ADVUL compact cylinder and allows the cylinder to be mounted with a pin connection. This setup lets the cylinder follow the motion of the driven load without forcing it into a fixed position.
This clevis foot is sized specifically for ADVUL cylinders with 12 mm or 16 mm bore sizes. It is built to match the cylinder dimensions accurately, so installation is straightforward and secure.
