The 30AXTN2 3-phase switch, also termed a disconnector produced by Eaton, ensures total electrical circuit de-energisation. Built to confirm circuits remain de-energised, its contact arm uses a hinged mechanism, counter-rotating on post-insulator stacks.
A 3 phase switch, also known as a disconnector, is a device that guarantees the complete de-energization of an electrical circuit. The switch is used to ensure that the wires connected to a circuit are not energized. Furthermore, a switch's contact arm is a hinged mechanism that opens and closes on a counter-rotation of its post insulator stacks. The switch's contacts are male and female, and they must be able to withstand the highest short-circuit current in the closed position. An isolator switch must also be constructed in such a way that the device cannot open under a short-circuit condition.
Enrgtech provides a range of non-fused switch disconnectors that come in a variety of differing types and styles to suit numerous electrical circuits and applications. In addition, they can have different power handling capabilities, voltage ratings, as well as differing maximum current capabilities.
