The ifm electronic LMT100 is a robust, hygienic point-level sensor engineered for accurate detection of liquids, viscous media, and powders. Designed for flush or welded mounting via a G ½″ process connection, it features a compact 11 mm probe tip and gold-plated contacts for superior signal integrity. With two programmable switching outputs (NO/NC) and a wide 18–30 V DC supply range, it supports PNP or NPN-configured systems. The device is rated IP68/IP69K, making it highly suitable for demanding industrial and food-grade environments.
The LMT100’s advanced sensor electronics utilise impedance spectroscopy to reliably detect the presence of a medium at the probe tip, regardless of transparency or colour variation. With its hygienic design and robust construction (316L stainless steel / PEEK materials), it withstands thermal and mechanical stress across –40 °C to +100 °C (operation) and short-term up to +150 °C.
