The P382 FFP2 NR disposable respirator has a multilayer filtration medium, a PU foam sealed nosepiece and an ultrasonic welded medical grip elastic strap. The respirator offers an assigned factor workplace protection exposure limited for fine non-toxic dusts, fibers and mists.
Type ffp2 masks are composed of three layers of synthetic non-woven materials, with the inclusion of filtration layers between. This is due to FFP2 standards manufacturing and it prevents us from all aerosols, dangerous chemical compounds, and hazardous respirable bags of dust. The nose seals are made of polyurethane foam which doesn’t absorb water or moisture. Another advantage of a nose seal made of PU foam is that it has good dimensional stability compared to cellulose. Cellulose tends to sag or settles over time while PU foam has good resistance against extreme temperatures. Another benefit of ffp2 masks is it is effective against bacterial and fungal spores.
