Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)
This defibrillator is extremely easy to use and does not require the first aider to deliver a shock as the system is fully automated.
Visual and verbal instructions support the first aider during the resuscitation process and the AED assists with instructions for mouth to mouth resuscitation and chest compressions.
After an unsuccessful shock, the AED automatically increases the energy delivered from 175 joules to a maximum of 271 Joules.
