It is particularly suitable for tasks that are physically demanding, conducted in warm environments, or extended in duration. The user interface can include a hood, face shield, half mask, or full face mask. The fan, equipped with filters, delivers filtered air through a hose to the human interface, creating positive pressure that prevents surrounding pollutants from entering the mask. Key features of the SR 500 include a lithium-ion battery with two options: a standard 2.25 Ah (STD) battery with a charging time of approximately 1.5 hours, and a heavy-duty 3.5 Ah (HD) battery that charges in about 2 hours. The unit supports two filters or combined filters and offers an operating time of up to 13 hours.
