Well suited for general industrial purposes, this wall-mount power plug from the RS PRO range is right-angled for a more secure connection. It's housed in a durable high-strength plastic enclosure that's rated IP44, meaning it's protected from objects more than 1 mm in size, as well as from water splashing from all directions.
This industrial power connector is voltage rated at 230 V and current rated at 16 A. The IEC309-type 2-pin plus Earth male plug has an insulation resistance rating of 500/690 V. It can operate at temperatures ranging from -25˚C to +40˚C and has a maximum operating temperature of +60˚C.
What's more, the plug has been exhaustively tested to ensure its safety and reliability, including being glow wire tested to 650°C/850°C. This high-quality product won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007) and contains only minimal hazardous substances (RoHS).
