The power supply comes with an embedded measurement system which checks the powering of the Pi and includes 450 mAh LiPo battery. LiPo battery is designed for a safe shutdown during a power cut. If a power failure is detected on the Raspberry Pi, the UPS Plco automatically switches to the Pi battery source once the power is restored.
