Ultrasonic Level Transmitter
MSP liquid level transmitters use ultrasonic measuring techniques to determine fluid levels in a variety of applications across industry including Storage tanks, effluent pits, reservoir and filter bed levels. An ultrasonic pulse emitted from the sensor head is reflected by the surface of the liquid and the delay between signal transmission and reception used to calculate distance between the ultrasonic level transmitter and liquid surface. Compensations to the speed of sound caused by changes in air temperature are made automatically.
