GPS Plug-in Module (Shield) for Arduino The IES-SHIELD-GPS and IES-SHIELD-GPAM modules are highly integrated multi-channel simultaneous GPS and GLONASS positioning systems. Both modules include programmable analogue input/digital GPIO. IES-SHIELD-GPAM additionally features an on-board 3-axis accelerometer. Although both modules have an Arduino-shield format, they can also be used with a Raspberry PI SBC. Both modules feature I2C communication with the host in order to leave the serial UART [Tx/Rx] port free for other functions e.g. wireless communication.
