Vacuum Gauges

Vacuum gauges are essential instruments used to measure and monitor vacuum pressure levels in various systems. These devices can be widely found in different industries in the UK to ensure vacuum systems operate efficiently and safely. By providing accurate pressure readings, they help detect leaks, optimise system performance, and prevent equipment damage. Furthermore, vacuum gauges provide precise pressure measurements, allowing operators to monitor and control vacuum systems effectively. They help prevent costly downtime by detecting system malfunctions early, including pressure fluctuations or leaks.

Commonly Used Types of Vacuum Gauges

  • Mechanical vacuum gauges (e.g., Bourdon tube, diaphragm)
  • Digital vacuum gauges
  • Thermocouple and ionisation gauges for high-precision applications
  • Differential vacuum gauges

RS PRO Vacuum Gauge, Maximum Pressure Measurement 0 bar, Gauge Outside Diameter 100 mm, Connection Size BSP G This analogue pressure gauge can be used to measure the pressure of oils, liquids and gases across a wide range of equipment. The component is part of the tried and tested RS PRO range. Analogue pressure gauges contain a curved Bourdon tube, which straightens when under pressure. As pressure rises, the pointer moves along the scale to provide an accurate reading (as sensed by the measuring element). This pressure gauge has a stainless steel case and a non-splintering laminated safety glass window. The gauge is suitable for corrosive environments and the pressure system is protected against gases and liquids. The hard-wearing construction also prevents pulsation and vibration distortion to the reading. This pressure gauge was manufactured in accordance with EN 837-1 and has an accuracy class of 1.6 Per DIN 16005 (German Institute of Standardisation). The part is suitable for use in the shipping industry and with hydraulics and compressors. Features and Benefits • Minimum to maximum pressure measurement of -1 bar to 0 bar • Vacuum pressure gauge type • Gauge outside diameter of 100 mm • Connection size of BSP G • Stainless steel case material, element and movement • Operating temperature range of -20°C to +60°C • Meets EN 837-1 and DIN 16005 (Deutsches Institut für Normung, or the German Institute of Standardisation) standards RS PRO RS PRO is our own brand range and brings you a wide range of high-quality, great value products offering you more choice. Trusted by engineers all over the world, every part of every RS PRO product has been rigorously tested against demanding industry standards they’re only given the RS PRO Seal of Approval if we’re confident of their exceptional quality, which means you can be confident too.
