Teledyne LeCroy PPE Series High Voltage Passive Probes LeCroy PPE series probes are suitable for a wide range of applications where high-voltage measurements must be made safely and accurately. New technology, using hybrid circuitry, minimizes ringing and overshoot to provide a precise response. The fixed-attenuation standard probes automatically re-scale any LeCroy 9300C or LC series oscilloscope for the appropriate attenuation factor of the probe. Note Probe Ring: PPE1.2KV = No; PPE20KV, PPE2KV, PPE4KV, PPE5KV, PPE6KV = Yes Cable Length: PPE20KV = 3m; PPE1.2KV, PPE2KV, PPE4KV, PPE5KV, PPE6KV = 2m PPE20KV peak voltage = 40kV Supplied with Trimming tool, sprung hook, IC insulating tip (red), insulating tip (red), ground lead (22cm), BNC adaptor, straight tip (0.8mm), spring contact tip (0.8mm), crocodile clip, flexible 4mm security adaptor, security ground lead

PP022-1, LeCroy

PP022-1, LeCroy

Teledyne LeCroy Passive Probe PP022 Passive probes are the standard probe provided with most oscilloscopes. They are also sold as separate items and as replacements. The PP022 (PP022-1 single pack, PP022-2 two pack) has 500 MHz bandwidth, 10 pF input capacitance and 2.5 mm probe tip diameter. It is typical of passive probes in that it provides a 10:1 attenuation and features a high resistance of 10 MΩ. Its high input resistance makes the passive probe a choice instrument for low frequency signals, because circuit loading at such frequencies is minimised. Passive probes are designed to handle voltages of at least 400 V. The PP022 handles up to 500 V. Teledyne LeCroy passive probes feature an attenuation sense pin which activates the oscilloscope to scale waveforms automatically, with no operator input. Note The PP022 passive probe is compatible with Teledyne LeCroy WaveSurfer MXs-B and MSO MXs-B, WaveRunner 6 Zi and HRO 12-bit oscilloscopes. Using the appropriate passive probe with an oscilloscope means that the probe will be properly compensated across the entire bandwidth. Otherwise compensation will be for low frequencies only. Supplied with Ground lead with alligator clip, rigid probe tip (installed), rigid probe tip (replacement), short collar (installed), sprung hook, trimmer tool, long collar, IC tip insulators (black, brown, blue, green, grey - 1 off each), tip insulator 2.5 mm, probe tip cover, BNC adapter 2.5 mm, swivel ground lead, swivel ground lead adapter, ground spring, PCB adapter, spring tip, colour coding rings (yellow, red, green, blue - 2 off each) Passive Oscilloscope Probes Note All the products in this range are supplied for use with instruments with a permanent earth connection.

Passive probes are the standard probe provided with most oscilloscopes. Typical passive probes provide a 10:1 attenuation and feature a high input resistance of 10 MΩ. This high input resistance means that passive probes are the ideal tool for low frequency signals since circuit loading at these frequencies is minimized. Passive probes are designed to handle voltages of at least 400V, some as high as 600V. Teledyne LeCroy passive probes feature an attenuation sense pin which tells the oscilloscope to scale the waveforms automatically requiring no user input. Each passive probe is recommended for a certain oscilloscope, using the right passive probe with the right oscilloscope means that the probe will be properly compensated across the entire bandwidth. Using probes with a different oscilloscope will only let you compensate for low frequencies. 250 MHz Passive Probe for HDO4000, 10:1, 10 Mohm Teledyne LeCroy High Definition Oscilloscopes
