UCS2112 USB Port Power Switch
The Microchip UCS2112 is a dual port USB Power Switch that provides 3.0A continuous current per VBUS port. The UCS2112 can be used in standalone and SMBus /I²C applications offering eight current limits per port ranging from 0.53A to 3.0A. In SMBus applications the UCS2112 provides per-port current monitoring; per-port charge rationing is also provided ranging from 3.8 mAh to 246.3 Ah.
For USB Battery Charging 1.2 applications, the UCS2112 includes an independent discharge function and constant current/current limiting modes.
