Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 Lite The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 is loosely based on the Raspberry Pi 4B. The form factor of the new CM4L is different from previous Raspberry Pi Compute modules, which have all shared the same form factor. The Flash memory is connected directly to the processor on the board, however the remaining processor interfaces are available to the user via the connector pins. The electrical interface of the CM4L is via two 100-pin high density connectors. The footprint of the CM4L is now smaller with the new form factor design. The Compute Module 4 Lite comes with no on board eMMC meaning an external eMMC or SDCARD needs to be used to gain data for coding. The CM4L can be supplied with an onboard wireless module which supports: 2.4GHz, 5.0 GHz IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ac wireless Bluetooth 5.0, BLE If wireless is not required however, as the CM4L board can be equipped with an onboard Gigabit Ethernet PHY. A standard 1:1 RJ45 MagJack is the only thing necessary to provide an ethernet connection to the user’s Compute Module 4. The CM4L has an internal PCIe (peripheral component interconnect express) 2.0 x1 host controller meaning the user can connect the board to high speed components such as GPUs, RAID cards, Wi-Fi Cards or Solid State Drives (SSD). There are 28 pins available for general purpose I/O (GPIO) on the Compute Module 4 Lite which match with the GPIO pins on the Raspberry Pi 4B 40-pin header. The pins have access to many internal peripherals such as I2C, PWM, SPI, UART and supports inputs (or outputs) of controllable micro controllers. The Compute Module 4 Lite supports Dual HDMI 2.0, CSI-2 (MIPI Serial Camera) as well as DSI (MIPI Serial Display). This means there are 6 ports capable of image display/capture at any one given time and they are supported by Official Raspberry Pi firmware. For the first time the Raspberry Pi Compute Module is available in a huge number of technical variants, there are 32 c...

RASPBERRY PI 3 MODEL A+, Raspberry Pi

RASPBERRY PI 3 MODEL A+, Raspberry Pi

Raspberry Pi 3 Model A+ The Raspberry Pi 3 Model A+ is the latest computer board from Raspberry Pi. It shares much of the same functionality as the Raspberry Pi 3B+ board, but with the footprint of the previous Raspberry Pi 1 A+ board. Why choose the Raspberry Pi 3A+? If you’re looking for a compact board with great speed, the Raspberry Pi 3 Model A+ is for you. Whether you want to learn computer programming, or trying to incorporate Internet-of-things into your workplace, the 3A+ model can help you achieve your goals. It would be impossible to tell you everything that a Raspberry Pi can do as, with some help from add-on devices, there are no limits to your imagination. From media players to full IOT integration, education to gaming, monitoring working conditions to work productivity, and even controlling your own robot, Raspberry Pi covers a huge range of applications. The benefit of the Raspberry Pi 3A+ is that it is smaller than most previous models and therefore ideal for integrating into applications where space might be limited. Note: The Raspberry Pi 3 Model A+ is supported by NOOBS_v2_9_0 or later. Raspberry Pi 3A+ vs. 3B+ Both boards share similar functionality, such as processing power. The main differences between these two boards is their mechanical footprint and their memory capacities. The new 3A+ has the same footprint as the 1A+ which measures 65 x 56 mm. The 3B+ is 85 x 56 mm. Therefore the 3A+ is more compact and ideal for integrating into smaller designs. The 3A+ has 512MB memory in comparison to the 1GB 3B+. The 3A+ also does not have an Ethernet connection. What’s on-board? Processor: Broadcom BCM2837B0 Processor Quad core A53 (ARM v8) 64-bit SoC Memory: 512MB LPDDR2 SDRAM Bluetooth: 2.4Ghz/5GHz IEEE 802.11b/g/n/ac wireless LAN, Bluetooth/BLE USB: USB 2.0 port Connection: GPIO Header 40-pin HDMI: 1 x full size Video: MIPI DSI display port, ...

Raspberry Pi 4 8G Model B, Raspberry Pi

Raspberry Pi 4 Model B SBC The Raspberry Pi 4 Model B is the best performing single-board computer to date from The Raspberry Pi Foundation that has undergone a huge upgrade in comparison to all previous models, whilst still being backwards compatible. For the first time, the Pi 4 B is available in different memory versions up to 8GB with true Gigabit Ethernet, USB-C power, USB 3.0, dual 4k display output and a quad-core CPU to rival the performance of an entry-level desktop PC. It’s a truly powerful and capable computer in a small, affordable package. What's new with Raspberry Pi 4? ● The Raspberry Pi 4 has received a performance boost to 1.5GHz with an upgraded quad-core processor. ● There is now a choice of memory size; 2GB, 4GB and 8GB to enable more complicated processes to run efficiently. ● Dual micro-HDMI ports enables a dual screen set-up - previous versions featured 1 standard HDMI port. ● Up to 4K resolution video decoding. ● 2 x USB 3.0 ports enable faster connectivity to other peripherals – previous models has 4 USB 2.0 ports. ● Bluetooth 5.0 and WiFi - an improvement on the previous Bluetooth 4.2 on the Pi 3 B+ ● True Gigabit Ethernet as the Pi 4 is not limited by the USB 2.0 bridge ● Power is supplied via USB-C – Raspberry Pi 3 was powered via micro-USB at 5.1v What is the Raspberry Pi? A Raspberry Pi is a compact computer board offering endless opportunities. From the beginning, the Raspberry Pi was designed to be simple to use and simple to adapt to what you want to do with it. Simply plug into a TV or monitor, keyboard, mouse and power supply, and you are ready to go. The great thing about Raspberry Pi is that it is suitable for almost all age groups. Whether it’s introducing programming to children, or used by engineers to make complex computer-controlled systems, anyone can use one. There is a huge range of "HATs" (Hardware Attached on-Top) and other accessories which you can co...
