The cover caps prevent contact with the swivel arm during operation removing the risk of damage or injury. Cover caps also provide some protect against dirt and debris ingress. Fitting Fitting the caps is easy, simply break off the required number of segments to allow the swivel arm to move through the desired angle. The cap then snaps into place with the three hooks fitting into a groove on the DSM swivel module. The cylinders offer high dust resistance through the use of a specially-designed and unique dust seal, making SMC C85 pneumatic cylinders suitable for use in extremely dusty environments.
