Their simplicity, compact design and ease of assembly have led to their widespread choice for applications that use fluid power in motion control. The steel fittings are ideally suited for low and medium pressure applications up to 350 bar nominal pressure and have an operating temperature range of -40°C to +120°C. Their design is simple. The flaring tool vice and flaring pins (available separately) create a seal and hold fluid under pressure in the system. The tube end is flared to 37° and clamped between the fitting nose and the sleeve when the nut is tightened. This provides an effective single seal point between fitting nose and tube flare. The Parker Triple-Lok fitting consists of three components: fitting body; tube nut; sleeve. For steel fittings it is recommended that seamless drawn steel tubes to DIN 2391/C are used.
