Signal Buffers:

As it amplifies the waveform or signal, it demands an electric power source. They also have two different types like wired and wireless repeaters.
Splitters:
Splitters are electronic components used to split a wire’s signal between two or more gadgets. Lossless replication of the input signals is possible using a signal splitter. The signal levels are changed or transformed to a different format concurrently. Signal splitters that include two input signals and extra control inputs can also be utilised as dual-level converters or bounce-free signal crossovers.

- Allowing the signal to travel farther or be picked up on the other side of an impediment
