RS PRO 11.8 mm Plain Stainless Steel Hex Flanged Nut, M5, A2 304
This stainless steel hex flanged nut is a fastener with a wide-flanged portion that acts as a non-spinning washer. Part of our tried and tested RS PRO range, these nuts have a flanged portion on one end. This lets you distribute the pressure of the nut without having to buy or install washers – the metal discs typically placed over nuts, bolts and screws to stop them from coming loose.
This hex flanged nut is made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel. The flanged portion is serrated, so it 'bites' into whatever surface its installed into. This provides a more secure fastening and protects against strong vibrations.
