How does a Current Transformer Function?

A magnetic flux is produced when an alternating current passes through the primary winding, and this flux generates an alternating current in the secondary winding. The ratio of this alternating current to its primary current is one. Step-down transformers are another name for current transducers. What are the Types of Current Transformers?

Toroidal Current Transformer - They are structured like a doughnut and do not consist of a major winding. As opposed to the way that undergoes the voltage passing in the grid is threaded with the help of a window or opening in the toroidal transformer. Toroidal transformers provide a highly efficient connection with less excess distortion and leakage inductance to ensure limited access.
