  • Active backplane contacts are popular for use on a standard board that comes with bus control and motherboard circuitry systems and has an easy installation process for components.
  • Passive backplane connectors are ubiquitous in standard boards that contain drivers and buses that are radically designed for data transmission and an interface for an operating system.

What is backplane speed?

The backplane contact data transmission rate of the switch refers to the maximum amount of data that can be transmitted among different communication systems with the help of the switch interface processor bus and card interface. The backplane accessories bandwidth marks the overall data throughput capacity of the switch, and the exchange bandwidth is commonly called Gbps.
